Frequently Asked Questions - Tag settings


The tag cloud is a visual depiction of all our user generated tags.

That’s true, but let’s say your are interested in e.g. cars and you add a car magazine, online car auction
and because old cars are so nice, you add an old timer magazine to your categories as well.
Subsequently, your category tree looks like this:

Online car auction > Auto-Scout-24
Papers & magazines > Car & Motor > Car magazines > Motor sports
Old timer magazine > oldtimer-market.com

It much more important to realize that you aren't just interested in e.g. cars, right?
With one tag:

  • Cars
    • Auto -Scout-24
    • Motor sports
    • oldtimer-market.com

    You can access your favorites faster and they are easier to find.

Option 1: Directly on the website
Simply click “Details” if you have found a website on our portal that you would like to add to your “My tags.”
You will find the button “Tag” in the information about the website. Enter the name under which you want to save the website in “My tags” and a moment later the tag appears on your toolbar.

Option 2: Via Toolbar settings
Click “Toolbar settings,” "Tag settings,” “Tags.” Under operations, enter a name for your new “tag” here and press “Add tag.”

Option 1: Directly on the website
Click “Tags” and select the display mode “Private tags." Find the appropriate tag from your list of tags. You will find the symbol “Edit” next to the “Tag” symbol under “Details.” “Edit” is used for changing and deleting tags. The actual tag that you can delete is displayed in an extra window.

Option 2: Via toolbar settings
Click “Toolbar settings” on the right side of the MyWebBar.com site and then “Tag settings” and/or “Tags.” Select the “tag” from the top in your personal tag cloud that you would like to delete. Now, information about this special “Tag" is displayed to you. At the bottom right of the page, you have the option of deleting the entire “Tag.”

Option 1: Directly on the website
Click “Tags” and select the display mode “Private tags." Find the appropriate tag from your list of tags. You will find the symbol “Edit” next to the “Tag” symbol under “Details.” “Edit” is used for changing and deleting tags. The actual “Tag” is displayed in an extra window for you. You can delete the website from the tag here.
ATTENTION: The tag remains, even without allotted websites.

Option 2: Via toolbar settings
Click “Toolbar settings” on the right side of the MyWebBar.com site and then “Tag settings” and/or “Tags.” Select the tag from the top in your personal tag cloud that you would like to delete. Now, information about this special tag is displayed to you. Select the website under “Settings” that you would like to delete from the tag and click “Delete Website.”

Click “Tags” and select the display mode “Private tags." Find the appropriate tag from your list of tags. You will find the symbol “Edit” next to the “Tag” symbol under “Details.” “Edit” is used for changing and deleting tags. The actual tag is displayed in an extra window for you. You can enter a new tag name here. It is confirmed with “Rename.”

Option 2: Via toolbar settings
Click “Toolbar settings” on the right side of the MyWebBar.com site and then “Tag settings” and/or “Tags.” Select the tag from the top in your personal tag cloud that you would like to rename. Now, information about this special tag is displayed to you. At the bottom of the page, next to "Operations for tag:...," you can enter a new tag name in the place where the existing tag name is. Subsequently click on “Rename tag.”
