MyWebBar is a free internet service that bundles bookmarks from different browsers and makes them accessible from anywhere.
You are probably asking: Why should I use MyWebBar and not one of the many other social bookmarks? We definitely don’t want to argue that there are a lot of similarities, BUT we offer much more!
Overview – What all can MyWebBar do? Here is an overview of the MyWebBar features:
MyWebBar-Toolbar
- Your Top30 and private bookmarks, your tags and favorite categories clearly arranged.
- Searching can be done with the MyWebBar search and most diverse search engines
- The toolbar can be customized
- Immediate display of newly subscribed websites
- Automatic website and category updating on the basis of our users ratings
- Your own settings, like private bookmarks, are only visible if you are registered. If you are not registered then the general categories can be viewed
MyWebBar portal
- Customize your toolbar, use our standart toolbars or the toolbar of other users
- Upload your own browser book marks (e.g. from Firefox, Mr.Wong etc.)
- Determine your Top30
- Create your own tags
- Make recommendation/suggestions for websites and categories and collect Karma points for more features by doing this
- Rate websites and write comments, so you can help other users and naturally, receive more Karma points as a reward
- Tell your friends about MyWebBar.de and invite them to join!
Always up to date
Life keeps getting faster and even websites come and go.
We offer you a WebBar that not only manages links to your favorite websites, but MyWebBar.de maintains these links, so that the links and you are always up to date. For you this means that bookmarks from websites that are no longer online are automatically removed. If the websites come back online, then your bookmarks are naturally reactivated.
Are you interested in a specific category? Simply set WebBar to automatically add a new website that our user recommended to your bookmarks.

The MyWebBar-Toolbar
You can access all of your bookmarks that you have saved somewhere via the MyWebBar. Simply install the WebBar and you can already view your bookmarks. It doesn't matter if you are at home, at work or maybe even on vacation.
No more irritating importing and exporting of bookmarks, just because you are at another PC. We offer the WebBar for Internet Explorer, Opera and naturally for Mozilla Firefox sympathizers. In order to add a bookmark to your personal WebBar, you have to add it on the MyWebBar protal and then you will see a promt about how it appears on your WebBar.
If you don’t work on the computer any more, then you can comfortably logout via the WebBar. Then you will no longer see your private bookmarks, but the general ones that all users have access to. If the WebBar is already installed on a system, then just login with your username and password and you have instant access to your saved links (My Top30, My tags, My top bookmarks and categories) and various search engines.
The central point
The MyWebBar portal is the central contact point for all users and guests. You can view links, find out quick or even comprehensive information about websites or you can visit websites here. You can quickly find and subscribe to new websites with just a few clicks via the websites allocated into categories.
Rate the websites! Ratings and comments help all users find websites that fit to them. Another advantage of the rating system is that website hosts are motivated to make their sites user-friendly, faster or to rework their site if it gets bad ratings.
Do you know and use websites that are not represented on MyWebBar.de yet? Recommend the websites or make your private bookmarks public for all MyWebBar.de users to see…this is naturally anonymous. Our hosts review the websites and subsequently, they can be used by all users. Other users can rate your recommendations and thus increase its prominence and/or the prominence of a website. If a website does not fit in an existing category, then you can simply recommend a new category via a form.
